Since I’ve been sick all day with a bad cold (bummer!), my Saturday was spent in bed, sniffling, sleeping, watching TV and of course, my iPad games (Smurf and Dream Park!)
So what did I end up watching awhile ago? Drake and Josh on Nickelodeon! Remember them?
I’m sure this may be old news to some but have you seen how Josh Peck looks like now?!?
HOT! HOT! H-O-T! Tssssss…
When my husband and I had our current home renovated before moving in, one of my requests was to have my own bookshelf (aside from requests of having a big closet, my own shoe cabinet, a cabinet for my accessories and bags, etc… Teehee!)! Of course, my loving husband happily obliged (I love my husband!).
This is my bookshelf! Not as big as Fully Booked (haha!) but I love it!
then of course, my iBook shelf (heaven!)
You may ask where my other books are. Uhm… They’re on my husband’s shelf. Haha!
I. LOVE. BOOKS. Period. 
Oh my! I fell asleep due to overeating yesterday! I think I gained 2lbs on a single day (which took me like 1 month to lose! Pfft!).
Here’s what I ate…
LUNCH :

Can I just say that this was one of the yummiest children’s party I’ve ever attended?
There were yummy food carts all over! Starbucks, Pot Dog, Waffle Time, Selecta, Candy Corner, Fruit Magic, Potato Corner and more! And to top it all off, buffet by Florabel! So yummy!
DINNER :
After hearing mass, my husband and I decided to have another yummy dinner at my happy resto, Chili’s!
We consumed the coupon they sent me for my birthday — FREE buffalo wings! Yehey!
So this is what we ended up having for dinner…
Cream of clam chowder, buffalo wings and queso skillet with tortilla chips! So yummy!!!
Don’t you think they have a good marketing strategy in having you eat in their restaurant?
Now, gotta get back to my diet! *PANIC*
I love boots! How I wish that I could wear them everyday — and if I could, I’m sure my shoe cabinet and shelf would have more of them. Too bad, with the hot weather in Manila, sometimes it’s just too hot to go out with them.
But today, I decided to wear my Steve Madden lace up boots with a floral top and denim mini skirt to my sister’s lunch birthday treat. As far as I could remember, I think these are my first leather boots. I prefer my boots to come in suede as they’re usually softer and more comfortable.
But the moment I tried them on, I immediately fell in love with them. I love the color, how ‘old’ it looks and how comfortable they are! I’m glad I decided to get them!
Here are my other boots — my collection of Roxy suede boots which I love (isn’t it quite obvious that I love them as I got them in all colors? Hehe).
A girl can never have enough shoes… Or boots! 
For 2011, I’ve fallen in love and developed some kind of an addiction with floral printed clothing — tops, skirts, dresses and scarves (and I’ve been eyeing the floral pumps from Forever21)!
So for today’s challenge, I thought of taking a photo of some of the floral skirts I have in my closet
I feel so girl-y! I love matching them with my TOMS, wedges or laced up boots! Can’t wait to get more!
Funny how true friendship continues to grow despite the distance…
Tonight, my office friends and I decided to converge at Fat Michael’s in Ortigas to have a night filled with laughter and food (5 taco bowls plus others to be exact). Some came from Mandaluyong, while others came from Makati and Commonwealth. Wow!

Here are my office friends whom I call the “Happy Gang”. Whenever I’m with these guys, I laugh, I rant, I laugh, I laugh, I laugh. Get the picture?
These friends can definitely lighten every burden I encounter at work and makes sure that they make the sun shine brighter. We can even argue at work but when it’s time for lunch or a quick coffee break, our friendship emerges and we just have fun

My husband and I really enjoy a lot of simple joys in life. Hotel beds, going out and exploring new places, staying in coffee shops to chit chat or do nothing or just being with family — and we did all these of last weekend… My birthday weekend!
