My Anniversary Nails :)

Since I was stuck at work on my wedding anniversary last May 21, I thought of having some “ME TIME” over lunch.  I skipped lunch for a nail session with Dashing Diva (talk about priorities, haha!).

My choice of nail polish for the 6th year wedding anniversary?  Orly Snowcone and Pixy Styx!

Some of my friends asked me why I painted my 4th finger blue.  Hmmm… I don’t know.  I just want to. 🙂

Ps. Dashing Diva just opened their newest branch in Gateway Mall.  As usual, I was happy with how they clean, cut and shape my nails.  I have always been a happy customer of Dashing Diva 🙂  They don’t offer Orly nail polishes as they have their own brand of nail polish.  These are from my own stash 🙂

Notes: I’m not sure if I was able to capture the color of Snowcone and Pixy Stix properly with my photo but to give you an idea, Snowcone is a shade of light blue while Pixy Stix is a shade of pink/orange.  Coverage is great as you only need two coats then you’re good to go 🙂

Let’s Accessorize!

I love accessories! My husband would always tell me that if I get to sell back all the accessories I have, I would have enough money to buy myself a good carat diamond jewelry — yes, I think I have that much 😀 Eeeps!

Nonetheless, I’m happy with them. I just want to make sure I have the right accessory whenever I need it. As they all say, girls can’t have enough shoes or clothes… same thing goes with accessories! Agree? AGREE!

And whenever I travel, I plan out my clothes, shoes and yes, even my accessories. I make sure I bring all of them with me and I match it based on what I plan to wear for the day 😀

So during the last Holy Week long weekend, here were the accessories I brought with me and ended up wearing… I’m sure you have noticed that these are my favorite pieces right now 😀

040612 What I Wore : Biking in Subic

People Are People green chiffon top, H&M black bodysuit (inner), Levi’s denim shorts, Silver Glitter TOMS, Swatch Zebra watch and my reminder bracelets ❤

Okay. This is not what I normally wear when I go biking with my husband but this is my preferred ‘look’ 🙂 I like it better than my usual biking attire made up of a dry fit shirt, a pair of bootleg yoga pants and rubber shoes (I’m not really a ‘rubber shoes’ type of person, but I want to be one)!

Biking is more fun if you’re “dressed” up for it 😉

Ps. If only I could exchange my helmet for a fedora hat… :p

 

Day 7 : Something New

I love the month of October for the obvious reason that it is my birth month 🙂 Yey!

Even if it is already a day after my birthday, I still received gifts which are perfect for today’s challenge. Here are two items which I received today 🙂

Remember my Swatch Watches, I Want blog entry? I finally got the first one in my list! Happiness! I got it in orange! Thanks to my dear brother who gave in to my request. Hurrah for great brothers!

Then the reminder bracelets were from my Honeh. So sweet 🙂 I showed it to him when we were in the mall a few weeks ago. I asked him if I can buy them. He said NO. 😦

Then today, he surprised me with them with 3 words which we both enjoy and promised to do together when we got married 5 years ago… LOVE, DREAM and TRAVEL.

Yes, I’m so in love 🙂

 

Swatch Watches, I want! :)

I grew up wearing Swatch watches and I’m so glad that they’re back in the scene (not that they disappeared or what, it’s just that they have more styles now which I loooove!)

Let me make my wishlist for this, just in case my husband sees this and decides to include (include means, one of many :p) this in my birthday loot bag (Whoa! It’s my birthday once again soon?!!? How time flies!)

In no particular order… If I can get all of them, WHY NOT! Haha!
