Weekly Photo Challenge: Friendship

Friendship.  The first thing that came into mind when I saw this week’s challenge?  THE BREAKFAST CLUB! 🙂 — my officemates, turned super great friends 🙂

Why do we call ourselves The Breakfast Club?  It all started when we would make sure we meet up every morning in McDonald’s just to have breakfast before starting our day at work.  We’ll talk about anything and everything under the sun — from work to people around us to local and Hollywood stars!  Rants and raves, all tackled in a span of an hour!

A great part of my life has been spent with these guys — From meeting deadlines, tyring out new products, attending product launches, product pull-outs, arranging for product/photo shoots, shopping til our hearts ache due to maxed out credit cards, swoon over stars, gush over characters in books we read, heartaches, break-ups, weddings, vacations, travels, resignations, shift in careers, etc… in short, we’ve really gone thru a lot!

I’ve known these guys for almost 8 years (it’s been 8 years!?!?) and we’ve all gone our separate ways in terms of careers but I’m happy that we all still keep in touch.  All I have to do is haller and I’m sooo sure that at least one of them will be on his/her way.  That’s how true friends are!  Here’s to forever!

Ps. And to the other 2 missing members of The Breakfast Club, Myra and Viv, WE MISS YOU SOOOO MUCH!  Come home soon!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Summer

Summer. Living in a tropical country like the Philippines, it almost feels like summer for the whole 365 days of the year. 🙂

But since June is about to kick in, it officialy marks the end of our summer season.  It has started to rain the past couple of days — but nonetheless, as soon as the rain stops, Mr. Sun will be back out shining oh-so-brightly. 🙂

The photo above is what made my Summer 2012 really special.  A random road trip last April 28 to Bataan.  Photo above is a collage of all the places we visited that day. 🙂  Please do visit my previous posts about this road trip (1st stop – Mt. Weekly Photo Challenge: Hands

Hands.  Such a perfect day for me to make a blog entry for this week’s photo challenge.  Here is a photo of our hands, together as husband and wife 🙂

May 21st, 2006.  The day I said “I DO”.  The day I married my best friend ❤ ❤ ❤

Today, my husband and I mark our 6th year together as husband and wife (more than 10 years of being the best of friends).  It was the best decision I made in my life.

To my Hon, I can never ever thank you enough for all the things you’ve done for me.  You have provided me with the best of what life has to offer.  We may not have everything we wished and prayed for in life but I know that we are living a great life together.  Thank you for being my EVERYTHING!  I love you and I’m looking forward to eternity with you 🙂

Thank you Lord for everything!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Unfocused

Unfocused.  I love taking photos of my little one, Lexi.  Each time I do, I try my best not to use my camera flash as I don’t want to startle her with the bright light.  So here’s an unfocused shot of her when she celebrated her 3rd birthday last April 27 (read post here).

She is definitely keeping an eye on the pupcake which I have baked for her 🙂

Weekly Photo Challenge: Together

Together. This week’s challenge was quite easy for me and I think the timing is just perfect 🙂

I always say this and I’ll say it again… time goes by really fast when you’re having fun 🙂  And that’s just how my life feels right now.  In a few weeks, my husband and I will be celebrating our 6th year together as husband and wife — and honestly speaking, it doesn’t feel like it has been 6 years.

I can still clearly remember the day we first met, the day we became the best of friends, the day we became a couple, the day we decided to say our I DOs, the days when we’d laugh together, cry together, become silly and crazy together…  Cheesy as it may sound, it really does feel like everything just happened yesterday.

I really think I must have done something really really good for God to give me the best of what life has to offer…  my husband and best friend… this life… our life together.

Thanks Hon, for everything!  Life has been so great ever since you came into my life.

Happy 6th year anniversary!  Here’s looking into eternity with you 😉
